Whoa! This blog looks just like my old one! It’s on a completely different subject but it has pretty much the same layout and design. Superb choice of colors!

    • Thanks Jamey for the vote of confidence. We BLOG and use the free Quintus template. I use an Olympus digital camera, (Olympus model SP600UZ Camera), which has the built-in feature of capturing an image in a line drawing format. The background image is one such image taken of the front of the church. I try to illustrate postings on the BLOG with line drawing illustrations that complement the topic. All sermons are transferred from the original Word document (authored in Office 2007/Word) using a cut and paste of the document using visual editing (as opposed to HTML format). The web BLOG is the base/free page and template, using no optional or commercial templates or features. I hope that explain how we get the BLOG to look this way and may help you in the future.

These sermons are from what I have shared for the Praise and Worship Services at Bloor Lansdowne Christian Fellowship where I preach from the pulpit on Sunday Mornings. BLCF does not employ a web master or commercial source for this or our other BLOG/Web sites. I used a template provided by which suited the line graphic photos that I took of BLCF Church. If you look at the bottom of these messages, you will see the free theme, Quintus, for this BLOG provided by, which is as follows: Blog at | The Quintus Theme.

obviously like your web site however you need to
check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling problems and I to find it very
troublesome to tell the reality nevertheless I will certainly come again again.
    Brice Neufeld

    • Thank you for your comment, regarding our BLOG. As most of the postings of late come from BLCF Sermons that were shared orally, and at the time spelling was not at priority. Before posting them, I do try to run them through Spellchecker, which will pick up spelling, grammar and other errors, such as your duplicate use of “again” at the end of your comment, the use of a lower case “o” and missing pronoun “I” at the beginning of the thread, among others in your comments. I suppose this demonstrates that none of us are perfect, even when we criticize. I trust that that you will focus more on the content than the form of the Sermons and Bulletins. If I repost another article, from an outside source, I leave it unedited; again with a focus on the content. By the way, most spell checkers object to the phrasing and spelling of the Scriptures, which is where WordPerfect was superior to MS Word! However, I will continue to check the typos and other errors, until the day I can afford to hire a proof reader.

I published a lengthy opinion a couple of days past but it never appeared here.
I ‘dn’t want to compose all that again. Anyways, I have
really appreciated reading through your blog posts.
    – Dallas Ricci

    • Dear Dallas,

All comments about the postings on this BLOG that I have received are posted in a timely manner, usually within a day or two of when I receive them. I have checked through all postings for the last couple of weeks and we have received none that match either your email or IP Address, which automatically records when the comments are submitted. WordPress does provide a SPAM filter which automatically deletes any comment determined by WordPress to appear to be SPAM. I do not have any control of their SPAM filters or what criteria WordPress uses in its SPAM filters, though I believe they must look for content that uses phrases or words of a commercial or vulgar nature and web pages and links are filtered out. Otherwise, I do not know what to say. It seems that the above message is the only one from your email address and IP Address to be delivered. If your comment was deleted by WordPress’ SPAM filters, I am sorry. Though as I said before, I have no control over the SPAM filters used by WordPress, if this was what happened to your comment. I choose not allow open comments without any SPAM filters, as this page would be full of comments posting everything from mail order products, links to Porno and other unsavoury sites, etc. which detracts from the theme of our BLOG. Besides, those looking for commercial products and links to other such sites that are unrelated to this BLOG can find them via Google and other search engines. I am sure that readers who come to this BLOG only to read its content do appreciate a filter that may not be perfect.
