Q: When is a church more than just brick and mortar?
A: When the people of the church decide to provide for those who are homeless and disadvantaged with a warm meal in an environment that is safe and friendly: BLCF Cafe Community Dinner.
Bloor Lansdowne Community Dinner, renamed BLCF Cafe Community Dinner in December 2009 was established in January, 2008 by and is operated under the auspices of Bloor Lansdowne Christian Fellowship – BLCF Church with the following mandate:
– Provide all guests with a nourishing meal
– Treat our guests with dignity & respect
– Augment meals with music & fellowship
– Establish significant relationships
– Share the Gospel of Jesus in word & deed
How can you help the BLCF Cafe feed the homeless?
Volunteer your time or donations (tax receipts are available).
Every cent donated to BLCF Cafe goes directly to feeding the homeless and disenfranchised at the Community Dinner.
BLCF Cafe Cmmunity Dinner receives no government grants and has no corporate sponsorship and relies upon private donations, along with the help of a team of dedicated volunteers.
